Ivan Vyrypaev was born August 3, 1974 in Irkutsk. He is the film and theater director, playwright. He is one of the brightest representatives of his generation in contemporary art. His plays were translated into many languages and staged around the world. His films are involved in the most prestigious film festivals such as Venice festival and many others. Vyrypaev won numerous prizes and awards. He was recognized as the best playwright in Germany in 2009. His plays, films and performances reflect the spiritual path which he follows.
