Konstantin Sudakov

A disciple and the follower of academic Petr Kuzmich Anokhin, the organizer and Director for 35 years (up till 2008) of P.K. Anokhin Institute of Normal physiology of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, now — Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. From year 2008 K.V. Sudakov -Head of the Department of System Mechanisms of Emotional Stress, P.K.Anokhin Institute of Normal Physiology, RAMS. Beginning from 1974 up till now — Head of the Department of Normal Physiology of I.M. Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy. Academic of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, professor, honored scientist of the Russian Federation. Prof. Sudakov finished medical faculty of I.M.Sechenov Moscow Medical Institute (now I.M. Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy) in 1956. In 1966—1967 he worked on probation in National Institute of Health in Bethesda (USA). Academic Sudakov K.V. has been awarded with premium P.K. Anokhin and A.A. Bogomoletz of the Presidium RAMS and also medals and diplomas of the universities of France, Japan, Germany, Poland and Bulgaria. Sudakov K.V. is cavalier of Russian decorations: «Trudovogo Krasnogo znameni», «Druzbi narodov», "Za zaslugi pered otetsestvom«III and IV grade. The main scientific works: «Biological motivations» (1971), «System mechanisms of emotional stress» (1981), «Reflex and functional system» (1997), «Individual resistance to emotional stress» (1998), «Informational phenomenon of vital activity» (1998), «Dominant motivation» (2004), Two handbooks on normal physiology (2000, 2006).
